ViewStream
For Israeli broadcasters

Moving your channel to ViewStream, step by step.

Live, catch-up, your video library and your website, on one Israeli platform. Here is what you get from day one, how we make sure every release plays, and how the move works without putting a single viewer at risk.

Day one

What you get from the first day.

Live and DVR on every screen

Web, iPhone, Android and smart-TV apps. The live seek bar covers the programme on air: its start on the left, its end time on the right, earlier programmes one tap back.

Edges in Israel, and abroad

Viewers are served from ViewStream edges in Israel, and viewers abroad from Amsterdam, steered automatically. Load-tested with 98,900 concurrent viewers.

Lip-sync watched around the clock

Audio and video sync is measured where your signal comes in, after the encoder and at the edge, with an alert limit you set per channel. A problem in the source is never blamed on delivery, or the other way round.

Subtitles and summaries by AI

Hebrew subtitles with an English translation, and short programme summaries, made for every new video and programme. Your editors can correct them in Studio.

Your website, connected

A WordPress plugin and a public API: upload from your site, embed the player, and turn new videos and programmes into posts.

Your channel, your rules

Signed playback links, geo rules and your own branding on the player, the web TV site and the TV apps.

Quality

Every release is tested before your viewers see it.

Before a player release goes out, an automated suite plays your kind of streams the way viewers do and checks start, seek, the programme seek bar, quality switching and recovery after an outage.

Desktop, iPhone and Android

Every check runs in the browsers your viewers use, against the real live channels.

Several clean runs in a row

A release ships only after several full runs in a row without a single failure. Nothing is waived as "flaky".

Held, fixed, tested again

When one check fails, the release waits: the cause is found and fixed, and the runs start again from zero.

The move

Four steps, no risk to your viewers.

Your current provider keeps serving viewers until you decide to switch, and one switch takes you back.

1

Parallel feed

We take your existing contribution feed (SRT or RTMP, or SDI at your site) next to your current provider. Nothing changes for viewers.

2

Private preview

Your channel on our player, behind access control. Your team checks it on their own phones and TVs.

3

A share of viewers

Through multi-CDN steering, first a small share of viewers, then more. One switch rolls it back.

4

Switch-over

All viewers on ViewStream. Your old provider can stay as a fallback pathway until its contract ends.

From you

What we need from you.

  • A contribution feed of your channel, or rack space for our encoder at your site.
  • Your programme schedule (EPG).
  • Your ad tags (VAST / VMAP), if you run ads in the player.
  • One technical contact for the parallel step.

Let’s plan your move.

Tell us about your channel, and we will show it to you on ViewStream with your own content.
