Terms of service

These terms govern your use of ViewStream: Studio, the API, the player, the WordPress plugin and the other ViewStream services. They are an agreement between you (or the organisation you act for) and Online Advertising & Video Streaming Solutions Ltd., Israel ("ViewStream", "we"). By opening an account or using the services you accept them. Customers with a signed agreement are governed by that agreement where it differs from these terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to accept these terms for yourself or your organisation. Give accurate details, keep your password and API keys safe, and tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what people you invite and apps you connect (for example the WordPress plugin) do.

2. Plans

We may change allowances or prices; for paid plans we will give at least 30 days' notice before a change applies to you, and you may cancel before it does.

3. Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in Israeli shekels plus VAT, by card through our payment provider (iCredit); receipts are issued electronically. The plan renews automatically each month until you cancel in Studio; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. If a payment fails we will retry and tell you; after 7 days without payment the account returns to the free package (nothing is deleted). Fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires it.

4. Your content

You keep all rights in the videos and other content you upload. You give ViewStream the permission it needs to host, copy, encode, analyse (including with AI on our own servers), deliver and display your content in order to provide the services to you and your viewers. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you upload and publish, including music, images and the people who appear in it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use ViewStream to upload, store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes others' rights (including copyright and broadcast rights), is sexually explicit or involves minors, promotes violence or terrorism, or harasses others; to send malware or spam; to attack, probe or overload our systems or others'; to get around plan limits, security or access controls; or to resell the service without our written agreement. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. To report content, write to [email protected] with the link and the reason; rights holders should include enough detail to identify the work and their rights.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep ViewStream available and fast, with 24/7 monitoring, but the free package comes without a service-level commitment; service levels for paid customers are as stated in their plan or agreement. We may change or improve the services; if we remove a feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

7. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or others at risk; where reasonable we will warn you first. After an account is closed, your content is deleted as described in the privacy policy; export anything you need before closing.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. When you use ViewStream to serve your own viewers, you are responsible for telling them about it and, where required, getting their consent; Studio provides a ready-made paragraph about the player's viewer statistics.

9. Liability

The services are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, ViewStream is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or 100 ILS on the free package). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You will compensate ViewStream for claims caused by your content or by your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell account holders by e-mail or in Studio before it applies; continuing to use the services after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
