In low-latency mode, live streams reach viewers about 2.5 seconds behind the source, for news, sport and live events where every second counts. Standard HLS remains available for every player.

Cache-optimised for live and VOD

Caching is tuned separately for live playlists, which change every few seconds, and for on-demand video, which does not, so viewers are answered from cache as much as possible.

Origin shielding

The PoP and partner CDNs fetch through a shield layer rather than directly from the origin, so a rush of viewers does not turn into a rush of requests on your origin.

Global offload

Global reach through partner CDNs, with automatic steering.

Viewers abroad, and overflow traffic at busy moments, are steered automatically to our supported partner CDNs, CDN77 and BunnyCDN. Viewers in Israel stay on the Israeli PoP.
